Economic Highlights
This week, US markets will closely monitor inflation data for November, with Wednesday’s CPI and Thursday’s PPI releases providing critical insights ahead of the Federal Reserve’s (Fed) December 17-18 meeting. These figures will help shape expectations for potential rate cuts, especially following signs of easing inflationary pressures in recent PMI data.
In Europe, the European Central Bank (ECB) is expected to announce their latest rate decisions, with market consensus predicting a 25-basis-point cut. German trade figures and eurozone industrial production data will also be pivotal, while the UK’s domestic performance will be under the spotlight. The country will release its October GDP data alongside updates on ist manufacturing, services, and construction sectors.
